Spotted Medick
Medicago arabica

Also known as Spotted Bur Clover, this annual wildflower is readily distinguished from other Medicks by the black or brown markings on each leaflet. It bears between two to five small yellow clusters of peaflowers that appear during May to August. It is an occasional sprawling flower of grassy places, wasteland and recently cultivated or disturbed land.
